Here is another unfortunate example of bad science leading to bad results.
Robin Brown was arrested for carrying what police believed to be marijuana while bird-watching. But Brown was actually carrying a smudge stick, a bundle of incense consisting of sage, cedar and sweetgrass which she burns to cleanse herself of negative energy while engaging in prayer.
